Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Restock (hereinafter "we" or "our") collects and manages information through our mobile application "Restock" (hereinafter "the App").

1. Types of Information We Collect

The App only collects information that users input or generate while using the App. Specifically, this includes the following information.

(1) Information You Provide

Item Information: Product name, next purchase date, estimated price, memo
Shopping Trip Information: Trip name, scheduled date, items included in the trip
User Settings: Currency code, display days, and other app settings
Store Visit History: Past shopping history

(2) Information Automatically Generated

Identifiers: UUIDs to uniquely identify items and trips
Timestamps: Creation date, update date, completion date
Suggestion Data: Input completion data based on previously entered product names

Important: The App does not collect personal data such as location, contacts, call history, SMS, camera, or microphone. Additionally, we do not currently use external analytics, advertising, or cloud services such as Google Analytics, AdMob, Firebase, or Firestore.

2. Purpose of Information Collection

Collected information is used only for the following purposes.

Providing basic functions of the App (inventory management, shopping list creation, shopping trip management)
Improving user experience (convenient features like input completion, history display)
Identifying and fixing app bugs

We do not use information for marketing purposes or user profiling.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share user information with third parties. Specifically:

The App does not use external services (Google Analytics, AdMob, Firebase, etc.)
Data is not uploaded to external servers
Information is not shared with other companies
Information is not sold

Exception: We may disclose information within the scope of legal obligations only when required by law (e.g., requests from police, courts, etc.).

4. Data Storage and Management

Information collected by the App is managed as follows.

(1) Storage Location

All data is stored in local storage (AsyncStorage) on the user's device. We do not upload data to cloud servers or store it on our servers.

(2) Retention Period

Data is retained on the device until the user uninstalls the App. All data is deleted from the device when the App is uninstalled.

(3) Data Security

We take appropriate measures to protect user information, but the security of local storage depends on the user's device security settings. Please note the following.

We recommend setting a lock screen on your device
If your device is lost or stolen, perform remote wiping as soon as possible

5. Your Rights

Users have the following rights regarding their data.

(1) View, Edit, and Delete Data

Users can view, edit, or delete registered data at any time within the App.

(2) App Uninstallation

Users can delete all data by uninstalling the App. Follow the standard procedure for each device to uninstall.

(3) Data Backup

Since the App does not provide cloud synchronization, users are responsible for backing up their data.

6. Device Authentication

The App does not authenticate users. Please note the following.

There is no account creation or login functionality
We do not collect device IDs or identify users
We do not perform device authentication for fraud prevention

7. Use of External Services

The App does not currently use the following external services.

(1) Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Not used. We do not conduct user behavior analysis or access analytics.

(2) AdMob

Not used. No advertisements are displayed.

(3) Firestore

Not used. Data is stored locally, not in the cloud.

Future Changes: If we introduce these services in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify users.

8. Children's Privacy

We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that information has been provided by a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to improve the App or comply with changes in laws and regulations. We will notify users through the App if there are significant changes.

Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
